Carriage Driving

CDE, HDT Navigator Wanted!  This is not a paid job! Combined Driving is a 3 day event made up of dressage, cones and a marathon or obstacle course.  When driving a pair (of ponies) a navigator groom is required. On the marathon section of the event the “navigator ” is an integral part of the team. These may be a trace come loose a whip lost or a harness broken, a carriage tip, course redirection or other situation. The navigator will use their weight for carriage stability around the obstacles and aid the whip driving.

The exciting position needs home training. Harness presentation, hook up and carriage safety as well as being capable of driving the team if the whip is incapacitated for any reason.
